Book Signing Fort Collins

Mom & I had our first signing for our new book One Patch Plus on July 18th at the Lincoln Center in Fort Collins. We were there to help open the Crossroads Safehouse Quilt exhibit. We sold a bunch of books and received positive feedback on the new book.

I took Shadow to PetSmart for a salon day. Here's her new look.

scorpions!!

okay today we saw our first scorpion, just walking across the floor. Brian is totally creeped out. Next time I will try and get a picture before he kills it.

...for the long awaited One-patch Plus quilt book!!! We are getting so close. They are promising books by early June. I can't wait to see it done. YEAH!

Harley Ride

Do you realize how hard it is to take pictures while riding a motorcycle. Well this is the best I could do. it doesn't begin to capture the beautiful scenery we saw. Everyone here seems to have a boat. Ther are some huge lakes! I'll try to take better pictures in the future. Of course I have no idea where this even is.

PetSmart Dog Park Adventure

Yesterday I decided to take Shadow to the PetSmart dog park at washington Park. I found it on the internet.
This fenced dog park is has over 2.5 grassy acres.
• A water fountain and two watering stations for dogs
• benches
• bag dispensers and garbage cans.
• six-foot-high perimeter fencing and two double-gated entrances
• mutt mitt dispensers and garbage cans for dog waste
• separate areas, with independent entrances, for large and small dogs



Sounded cool right? So...we (Shadow & I) were all excited to spend the afternoon. But when we got there for some unknown reason it was closed. And to top it off I locked my keys in the car!! I had to call Brian to come bring me an extra set and i wasn't exactlty sure how to tell him to get there. But he didi find me and Shadow & I just had a nice walk around the perimeter. But I took a few pictures anyway. We'll go back again when it is open! The second picture is what it is supposed to look like. I found out later it was closed for irrigating. hmf!

UNPACKED! (mostly)

We have landed. Arizona is wonderful. I love it here so far. The place we rented is really great. Brian might disagree. The garage isn't quite big enough and the mustang isn't even here yet. I posted a bunch of pictures for you all to see. Shadow is enjoying her spot on the cool tile floor.
